Going back to Indiana

Seems that the C's did everything the bird-man asked for including =
firing half of the organization - yet he still decided to go.

A couple of questions about the vacancies that have been created in the =
basketball-management side of the operation.

Did they let Volk go too early and is this something they will regret?.  =
In thinking of a GM who is willing to work in the background and let =
Pitino take centre stage does anyone agree that K.C. would have been a =
good fit?.  Doubt he'll come back soon though.

In the long term I do get the feeling that Bird will have a tough time =
coaching in Indiana (both the Magic experience and the back problems).  =
he'll be back with the C's sooner or later (OK premature but wishful =
thinking never hurt).
