THE DON PITINO

Fox News had a special Sunday Night Sports Extra on last night.  They were
comparing Pitino to the Al Pacino in the Godfather.  It was pretty funny.
They compared statements that Pitino made in the press conference to actual
lines in the movie and they were VERY close.  They compared Pacino/Pitino
in looks, name, etc.  Pitino is the new Godfather of Boston.

The people of this city are going crazy!  I have heard from people who
don't even FOLLOW sports. That's how much coverage this is getting.

Poor Joanne Pitino has to sit through the entire news conference with Red
sitting next to her puffing on his cigar ( in a non-smoking bldg.).  Smelly
lockerrooms are one reality of a coach's life, but come on honey....you say
he's a legend? Ok, but he's a smelly one.

The new motto for the 1997/98 Celtics:  "You'd better WORK!"!  (from the
coss-dressing swaggering RuPaul).
