4. The Red Sox traded Cecil Cooper just as he was reaching his prime.
5. The Bruins allowed Bobby Orr to leave Boston.
6. The Bruins treated Cam Neely terribly after his gutty return.
7. Celtic brass questioned Jojo White's heart when he had bone spurs.
8. The Patriots chose Tony Eason over Dan Marino.  (Need I say more)

Do you get the sense that these GM's have a tad too much power and too 
little consultative sense?
