Look, I suggest you keep your tone down. The original poster asked the 
readers to indulge him a little. Why does that make him an idiot? In 
any case, people on this list are free to express their opinions, 
irrespective of the intellectual content of such an opinion.

Paul, Jason, are you gentlemen moderating this list? Recently, there's 
been a spate of totally irrelevant topics and vicious accusations 
being hurled around. A year ago, we were throwing people off the list 
simply for not taking the trouble to edit their replies; why are we 
putting up with this behaviour now?
