I don't see how you can compare Mercer to Jordan, and then turn around and
compare Van Horn to Smith.  Mercer could just as easily become a Donyell
Marshall or Glenn Robinson flop,  & Van Horn a Chris Mullin , Tom Gugliotta
type player. Michael Smith had nowhere near the 3 point shooting or jumping
ability of Van Horn, so I find it hard to cal him a carbon copy of Smith. 
It is all a crap shoot and we have to rely on Pitino & company's skill at
making the right decision to trade or not.  Like I  said before we may like
baker, & he wants to play in Boston, but if Philly offers him $10 M a year
& all Boston can offer is $5M due to cap room, Philly or anyone else will
be a tough offer to turn down, so it is better not to let him get on the
market but I would not give up both the 3 & 6 for him.
