Trade Rumour

I just heard on WEEI a possible three way trade between Indiana, Philadelphia,
and Orlando involving Dale Davis, Clearance Weatherspoon, Rony Seikaly and a
draft pick.  I didn't really catch who went where.

On to this Vin Baker thread.  Timothy in mind you have proven that Vin Baker
is one of the top 5 power forwards in the league.  On your list Jerry
Stackhouse, Scottie Pippen, and Glen Rice are not power forwards.  You're
comparing apples and oranges there.  Among those you mentioned Karl Malone,
Charles Barkley, and Shawn Kemp are better than Vin Baker.  But Juan Howard,
Larrry Johnson, Dennis Rodman, and Christian Laetner definitally aren't as
good as Baker.  Do you actually watch NBA games, or are you basing your
opinions on who you and you're friends like the most?  From watching him play
you can see that he has great athletic ability for his size (6'11", 250lbs),
he can throw and receive the alley-oop pass, and gives you 20/10 virtually
every game.

Unless we're overlooking someone, it seems to me that Vin Baker is the fourth
best power forward in the game, and the best in the conference.  Moving on to
the argument that Pitino won't trade his draft picks.  Why do you think he
hasn't signed them yet?  I'm guessing it's because if he trades their rights
before signing them he can unload more salary in a trade.
