Re: Jayson Williams

<< NJ might be interested in next year's first round pick, but not 1999 or
2000. I agree that there will be no talent in next year's draft. Its
pretty much guaranteed who will win the NCAA Championship, Arizona. Miles
Simon will be the lone good player in next years draft. Maybe a deal
sending Dana Barros, 1998 #1 pick for Williams and their 1999 #1 pick.
Dana makes nearly the same as Williams and then it would be pick for pick.
 Any comments?

Williams would be a nice add...but I'm not so sure they would go for what you
outlined. If we are able to get another big man without involving our own
Williams in the process, we should count ourselves fortunate.

I'm not so sure about the overall strength of the draft, but it's a strong
possibility that another top AZ Wildcat player will be in next years draft.
Mike Bibby may come out early after next year's Sophomore season. As for a
guarantee about next years championship...they may be on everybody's short
list (for good reason), but so much can happen at tournament time.
