On a technical note, I wanted to point out that even if we hadn't
surrendered our secound round pick for Wallace, we still couldn't have had
Zwikker. He was taken with the first pick in the secound round by
Houston. Whereas our original secound round pick was right after that.

Moving on to Travis Knight, I see him as more of a tall power
forward who can also give you some minutes at center than as a mobile
center who can also play power forward. Either way, he is better than
Pervis or Dino. My only problem is that this signing seems to say that
Pitino felt there was no way to clear cap space for next year and make a
run at a star player.
My impressions of Knight from watching him a few times on TNT
(accidental cable plug) are that he is very good at moving without the
ball and he has an ability to sneak in and get some offensive rebounds.
He is way too thin to bang around with most centers at this point in time
and could also have trouble muscling out some of the bigger power
forwards around the league. He does have good hand-eye cooridination and
he isn't by any means a stiff.

I would have preferred it if Pitino signed Andrew DeClerq (who is
more agressive than Knight) to a more cap friendly deal. I might go to
the mini-camp tomorrow night. If anyone is going tonight, let us know how
it went. I hope Dino passes his physical in Greece and they give him
whatever perks he wants.
