Yeh if TK turns into a 15/10 guy over the next 7 years we'll have a =
bargain, and yeh if he turns into the next chief (one of the 50 =
greatest) then perhaps I'll eat my words.
But this guy is soooo unproven. He has had a surprising year as a =
rookie where he outperformed very low expectations. So far he has =
played around 1200 NBA minutes, or 25 full NBA games!!! Even then he =
seems more of a 5/5 man, gee how did the woeful Eric Montross do last =
year?
Also remember TK was back-up to the most dominant big-man in the game. =
The vast majority of his minutes were against the subs and scrubs of =
opposing teams - opponents kept their big men on the bench while Shaq =
was out. When Shaq was injured Campbell actually moved to centrer for =
LA and TK played PF. To those who say this guy had a *great* college =
career well then how come a 7-foot center wasn't picked to the very end =
of the first round? and even then let go by the Bulls a team that as =
everyone endlessly reminds us is so weak at the center position itself.
Boy I hope I'm wrong about this but add me to the growing numbers of =
people who are questioning the combined wisdom of RP and Chris Wallace.
