LOS ANGELES -- Travis Knight has tentatively agreed to a seven-year
free-agent contract with the Boston Celtics, and will leave the Lakers, the
Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

The deal, when finalized in a few days, is worth about $22 million over the
length of the contract. In conjunction with the signing, the Celtics will
renounce several of their own free agents, the Times said.


Who will they be ?



"He impressed us. He's definitely someone who can play Rick Pitino-type
basketball," Celtics general manager Chris Wallace told WBZ Radio.
