97' Celtics

Point Guards; Chauncey Billups, he can break people down off the dibble and
kick out. Billups can play most of his minutes at the PG, but being a
physical he will allow Brown and Barros to play some point while he shuts
down the defense.
Dee Brown, if and when Dee drops off the extra pounds and changes his
attitude he will step up and become the star/leader he once showed the
potential to have. He could also play some two-guard.
Dana Barros, Barros can fill it up in a the wide-open style of play Pitino
will enforce. He has long ball range and is a pretty good defensive player
when given a chance. If last seasons injury has totally healed Dana can
make an impact on both ends.

Shooting Guards; Ron Mercer, Ron is alot better than his draft position
said (thanks to Pitino). He will shine under his old coach and is one of
our three building blocks.
Greg Minor, if Greg can overcome his off crout problems and gets into
Pitino shape he will make a good stop gap for Mercer.
Dana Barros/Dee Brown, both brown and barros can give valuable minutes at
the 2-spot.

Small Forward; Rick Fox, if they can re-sign Fox he will be the on and off
court LEADER. Rick will be the best shooter at his position, and that is
very valuable will Billups driving the lane. If our forwards can't make
the open jumper the Defense can stay back and clog the lanes.
Eric Williams, Eric could start if Rick not around, but with his scoring
and and new found good shape, EW could be a great sixth man (if not the best).
Greg Minor, Minor could be here if he is needed.

Power Forward; ANTOINE WALKER, Antoine is our best player, bar-none.
GO-TO-GUY.
Pervis Ellison, Ellison might be fragile and injury prone, but if he can
stay healthy (playing the PF might be easier for him) he can be a strong
shot blocker and will crash the boards.
Garth Joeseph, with his big body Garth (if he's signed) can bang inside for
about 10-15 mins a game.

Center; Travis Knight, in the open floor fast game and help defense his
tall yet slim body should not get hurt and should flurish. He has strong
post up game but, might not have to use it with all the other strong
scorers. He will mostly have to be strong on the offensive boards and an
inside defensive shot-blocker. He also can run the florr with the best of
'em. (centers that is)
Pervis Ellison, again if healthy can use his 6 fouls just as well as the
next guy.
Garth Joeseph, he also can use his strong build agaisnt the league.
