I would think that if Golden State had a chance to trade Marbury, Iverson,
and Damon Staudamire for Smith, they would.  What do you think?

Of course, many factors goes into these decision... (ie how long they are
on contact, will they resign, etc.)

I guess key phrase here is "all other things being equal."  All things are 
almost always never equal.
