I thought the NBA said you couldn't do that.  Didn't Miami try and sign Dan
Majerle and trade him back to Pheonix when they nixed the deal??

Does anyone have a clarification on this, b/c a lot of trade rumors (like
the dudley one are centered on a team doing that).
