re:Announcers

Kevin Cadbrillo(sp) is the best play-by-play announcer I have ever heard. He
does the Sonics TV and radio. He comes from the old school where the
play-by-play guys have to recreate the action by words like the old radio
guys like John Most and Chick Hearn. Marquis Johnson is his color guy and
they fit well together. The greatest part was when Kemp would be taking it
the rack and Cadrillo would put together all these different phrases to
describe the dunk. Cadrillo would really get excited about the play and carry
on  and it would make it exciting for you.
The guys on NBC are extremely boring, Marv Albert included. Tommy Heinsoln
was much better when he was on network. He is much better when he is tempered
by Cousy. Tommy is definitely guilty of bragging up the Celtic players which
causes him to lose his credibility. 
The network guys are plain just too much vanilla.
