Sun/Sonics game 1

At the end of game one, Dick Verse, the interviewer for TNT was
interviewing Danny Ainge on Rex Chapman's performance that game. He said he
was "unconscious"

I don't know why but that evening at the library I was reading old Celtics
article on the Boston Globe CD-roms. Apparently on Friday December 9th,
1988 against then Barkley led 76ers, Danny Ainge scored 45 points on 20/29
shots. Observers who saw him, saw an All Star guard walking and talking was
in reality, mired in a deep state of sleep-inducing exhaustion. It seems
he was suffering from from a rare form of sleep disease called Regan's
Trauma. The experts described, in the saddest of tones, an illness tinged
with irony. Because the victim is unable to respond to the conditions
around him, he is often able to accomplish much more with his life than
what was one thought possible, yet with little personal reward. In Ainge's
case, he would have been oblivious to all forms of pressure on the
basketball court.

I just copied a part of the article. It was interesting reading about this
condition. Anyone knows if this is happened to anyone else in basketball.
The article mentions former Red Sox, Dave Henderson as a victim but no one
else in basketball.

Hummm interesting Celtic history..
