  My apologies to the group.  Based upon the initial
responses, I apparently did not do a good job of explaining
the "mental exercise" described in my previous post 
(below).

  What I meant to suggest was to identify only those players
whose rights the Celtics have actually (previously) owned.
For example, Joe Klein, Robert Parrish, Jon Barry, Brian
Shaw are all current NBA players who rights belonged to the
Celtics, but who no longer play for the Celtics.  This list
can include, for example, injured players, players who 
"passed through" the Celtics roster on 10-day contracts, 2nd
Round Draft pick players who were cut but later resurfaced 
in the NBA on another team.  This list should include only 
players who rights (even if only briefly) belonged to the 
Celtics.  This list would, in my mind, represent a true list 
of actual NBA-level talent that "got away".
