Hi Ed,

In max's last season, Max and Red had a big fight and max was "ousted"
from the celtics family.  Apparently, last year when he came back as
the "color" announcer for the celtics radio station he and red had
some friendlier words about letting bygones be bygones and there is a
general feeling in the celic family to let make back in.

If they (whoever the theys are) let him in, you can expect his number
to be retired.
