Yes, I'm sure the press deals with essences all the time.
I know the people who smirk when I mention Pete's name don't feel that way.

I'm connecting the dots here. I also know from previous
readings that Pete has worked with addicts, abuse victims, etc.,
and that his interest in this topic may have many motivations.
His addictions, his *history* with abuse has surely brought him
in contact with many assistance organizations, peers, and
unfortunately enemies.
So that's what I mean by essence.

Seriously though, Pete's character is paramount for me,
not his complex dealings with this topic or the legal
issues surrounding the handling of contraband material.
