I thought he did a great job, too.  He definitely wasn't afraid of looking
stupid, and tried some pretty difficult things.  Actually, I was surprised
at how much they let him do, piloting the boat through rapids, etc.  "Roger,
don't hit that rock."  THUMP!  "Oooh, we're taking on a little water, cool."

I also felt like the experts were excited to have him there.  Like they were
fans of his.  Maybe that's me "projecting", but I sensed it from the way
they were talking to him.  All in all, a pretty fun show to watch.

If you set up the cable so it goes from the wall, into the cable box, then
the VCR, then the TV, you should be able to tape any channel you can
receive.  You have to tune the VCR to whatever channel the TV receives cable
on (Mine's channel 3).  You won't be able to tape channels you're not
watching with that set up, though.
