A funny thing happened on my way to school today, mommy.

Just thought I'd share a particularly poignant Who-moment that happened the other day.

I'm driving through Stow, on my way to a meeting.
This time of year is Stow's (and the rest of VT's) busiest time of year.
Leaf "Peepers" everywhere.
I happen to be listening to my collection of Who Lifehouse songs.
I pull up to the main intersection in Stow, windows rolled down, and Baba O. starts to play.
I've got the volume *way* up. I mean loud.
So here I am, spacing out to The Who, and listening to those familiar synth. notes that open the grandeur of Baba.
For some reason I look over to my right, and see a whole school class of kids around the age of 9 or 10, standing there staring at my Jeep. They all (chaperones included) had this funny inquisitive look on their faces. Nothing negative, but all curious. They looked kind of stunned.
I then look to my left, and see a bunch of tourists looking the same way.
When the piano, and then Keith chime in, I couldn't help but do a perfect air impersonation of both.
I then looked at the kids, and gave them a good wink and smile.
I could see them all watching as I drove away, and then look at each other.

Yeah, I may have tainted their minds forever with this display by a lunatic Who fan, but I tend to think that they have been implanted with the power of Baba.
Years down the road, when they first get turned on to The Who, they'll think back.

Heh-heh.
