You don't think there's *any* irony in the fact that Pete's new song
is called "A Real Good Looking Boy?"  Somehow, that irony escapes you.
You don't foresee any awkward moments when you mention it to your non-
Who-freak friends?

I'll be honest:  I'm gonna have to try to keep this song title a *secret*
from *my* friends!  Seriously!  Once they find out,....I got a ton of 
crackin' comin' my way.

Of course I do.  Listen - I'm not writing these thoughts to Pete or the 
press.  I'm expressing my feelings to you lot.  They....are....my....
feelings.  I'm not trying to bring Pete down.

I do not hate him.  I adore him & his art.  But I will not conveniently
ignore the awkward, ironic, discomforting fact that months after Pete
Townshend is placed on a sex offenders list, his first recorded song
is entitled "A Real Good Looking Boy."  

I should just "let that go."  Not mention it.  Pretend it's just another
song title.  Pretend there won't be jokes about it.  Rah! Rah! Go, Team!

I told you,....I will not deify this man.

Am I speaking to Pete?  I don't think so.  No, I wouldn't be that rude.
I'm expressing my thoughts & concerns to this list of Who fans.  Fans I
would *expect* to understand where I am coming from!

But instead I get scolded & told not to make jokes - like Pete's the f-ing
Pope, or something!
