WHEW!!! If this is true, it's the best news in months

Man, I am SO hoping that this is true.  I had an idea that it might be prior to reading this, as it seemed strange that the U.S. would automatically deny VISAS to anyone on that list w/o taking into account the circumstances.  This would seem especially true in the case of someone like Pete Townshend, who would be travelling to the U.S. to engage in activities beneficial to the economy.

It also seems odd to me that while he was under suspicion and investigation for posession and incitement of distribution of child porn he was allowed to travel to the U.S. w/o any problems (see post from several months ago about Pete in the Atlanta airport).
