They weren't.  You presented a good argument, Jim, & made some valid
points.  Now *my* thoughts are jumbled.  And I'm questioning my init-
ial reaction.

I still just can't get beyond the fact that he himself caused all
this.  I'm finding it hard to have pity on him.  To feel sorry for
him.

I know he's a good, decent man.  I know he means well.  But I keep 
asking, "Why?  Why?  Why?  Why did he do it?"

<sigh>  Anyone want to go out for a few drinks tonight?  I need one.
