Who related??

Just wanted to drop a weather related Who tidbit I noticed this morning in
the San Francisco Chronicle. The nation's low temp. for yesterday (the
18th), was in Happy Jack, Arizona, with a low temp of 12 degrees.

Also wanted to mention something that I'm kind of surprised no one else has
commented on. I picked up the 4 cd set of live Phish from 10/31/95, recorded
at the Rosemont Horizon, in Rosemont, Illinois. The interesting thing about
this show is the perform Quadrophenia in it's entirety. I haven't listened
to it in a while, but I feel they do a very good interpretation. It's
obviously something they worked on, and pull it off quite well. There is at
least one point i can think of though where they got a bit sloppy, and that
is in Helpless Dancer. Not sure if they were funning around or what. The
musicians play fast, and the singer can't keep up and botches the lyrics.
The majority of Quad is quite well done though. I would highly recommend
this if you'd like to hear another rendition of Quad. I wasn't familiar with
any Phish music before buying this, and did find a lot more to like on these
cds. Check it out!
I also picked up a couple of copies of Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere; the awesome
Who book by Matt Kent that I'm sure most of you are familiar with. A local
B. Dalton book store had them marked down to $7.98 each. I already had one,
but picked up a couple to give as gifts. A remarkable book even at the full
$40 price. Couldn't pass up such a bargain. (Best I ever had!) SORRY,
couldn't resist!
