Besides being the one responsible for entering his own
credit card to "just check" what was on offer, Pete
also was the one responsible for identifying himself
in the press. The press has yet to proactively "out"
anyone on the Operation Ore list, whether they be
celebrities, MPs, etc. If Pete had kept quiet there
is more than a good chance this would have been
handled quietly behind the scenes.
But you have to recall that Pete is self-destructive, and never more so than
when he/TheWho have a terrific project in the works. If we're going to
start digging around in his psyche, then we'll have to address this little
problem. All Pete's efforts to get out of doing a new Who album have failed
so far, and now he's come up with this to impede progress. ;)
