I'm not sure if I'd say it was cool but it was
certainly a telling photograph given the
circumstances.  In all the furor and chaos, him being
driven out in front of a press throng, whoever got
this shot managed to sum up how alone and stricken
Pete must have felt.

Here's an uncropped version, with the reflection of
the tree branches following the line of his coat - and
his blue eyes standing out:
