Let me give you one. I misread your name for brother Rick (in Maine)?
It's a busy time on the lists.

Your opinion.
One that's not based on current headlines, talk shows, or much talking
with many "outsiders" apparently.

>Most people see the splashy arrest headline

Most people? Are we talking about *everyone* now, or those that are
actually paying attention? Most people don't even know who Pete Townshend
is for crying out loud.
It's a big world out there.

What an utter crock of bull shit you just served up.
Yes, maybe the above applies to folk who shelter themselves from the real
world and don't read, talk, listen, etc.
However, *I* base *my* opinion on listening and talking with a whole bunch
of people from all walks of life, and also from reading every damn article
that's been posted. I base it on talking directly to two different DJ's
in my local market. I base it on talking with over a dozen people who are
currently in the music industry. I base it on talking with people who
normally are very critical of Pete and like to make jokes.
The above is insulting at least, and down right inflamitory at worst.
Now you have insight into *my* mind?
B...S.
You're obviously projecting your own perceptions and personality.

You need to find yourself a new group of friends, colegues, or what ever
you want to call the group of " -not- thinking individuals" that you're
hanging with that have caused you "many years of disappointment".

Even my buddy who initially left me a message laughing and saying Pete's
fucked, now admits that it was all in haste.

>If you really think that the populace at large is truly composed of

Yeah, my 37+ years has sheltered me from the real world. I need to wake up.
*Sorry*, *dude*. I tend not to look at the world from such a depressed
and defeated vantage point. Defeated people accomplish nothing. Optimism
is what changes the world. You must be a joy at work. Someone people can
count on to help accomplish change.

I guess we won't be counting on you for any help.
Thanks for reading.
