I think we all had similar thoughts.  John's death, while tragic enough,
happened at a very inopportune time.  I still get a bit queasy thinking
about the shock & disbelief I experienced on that dreadful Thursday
evening.

See, I think BTTB is a bit sloppy compared to the 2000 tour stuff that's
available.  They were just warming up during the handful of 1999 shows.
By the 2000 tour, they had it together.  They were still raw, but they
were a lot tighter, stronger, & more confident.

If you like BTTB, you should search out some of the 2000 tour material.
