Ah yes. Mean 'ole Mr. Truth. So cold. So uncaring. Only concerned
with facts. The head as opposed to the heart.

Why are obviously fabricated stories which attempt to explain nature
more comforting to you than actual reality? Only *you* can answer that
question for sure, but I would imagine you enjoy the notion of a par-
ental deity who is involved in & concerned about your day-to-day activ-
ities.

You relish the thought of being a part of God's special plan. You relish
the thought of living a life which must lead to an ultimate purpose.

You crave these feelings so much you that are willing to suspend belief
in anything which contradicts those feelings.

Evolution, the vastness of the universe, biology, astronomy, physics,
archaeology, the lack of evidence for the 'paranormal,'..... It all gets
thrown out the window so you won't feel afraid. So you won't feel alone.
So you won't feel useless.

You then make the incorrect judgment that a belief in reality, a belief
in science, a belief in truth will make you cold, uncaring, unloved, hope-
less, immoral, & useless.

I'm hear to tell you it doesn't have to be that way. Belief in the truth,
belief in reality is akin to a spiritual freedom unlike any you can en-
vision.

Imagine not lugging around all that religious, spiritual baggage. Imagine
leaving all that guilt & anxiety behind. Imagine freeing your true spirit,
your true self, from all that repression.

Trust me. Try it. There is no God. There is no hell. You won't be
punished for not believing. Enjoy your days on this planet with a free-
thinking mind instead of one shackled by the chains of religion, dogma, &
lies.

> I like Jon's banana better then Scotts.

Yeah, you & about 75% of the rest of the population. We've a long way to
go.
