RE: Wholapalooza II

Kevin, re:

>>Hey Jason,
Not to frig-up months of planning, and you do have a good line-up of
activities, but wouldn't it be great to coordinate this gathering (one I'd
like to take part in) with the premiere of TKAA at the NY Film Festival?
Perhaps it already does, and this can be added into the itinerary.

The only info. I can find is that the festival begins 10/3 and runs for 17
days. No mention on when TKAA will be played.>>

Kevin - do doubt, that WOULD be great. We chose the weekend we did mainly
because it coincided with John's birthday, and because on preliminary
"surveys," it seemed like a viable weekend for people to travel. Seeing as
the NYFF announcement just came out (and, like you said, there are no
details), there really wasn't anyway to factor it in when deciding the
weekend. If it plays on Saturday night of Wholapalooza, then we'd probably
have a problem as Who's Next are already booked for Le Bar Bat. But I
doubt that will happen. If fortune smiles upon us and TKAA screens on
Friday night, I'm sure we will all go see it.

FWIW, I have contacted Pioneer on numerous occasions about setting up a
screening of the DVD during Wholapalooza II weekend, but no responses. It
seemed like a no-brainer for me; they get to publicize their DVD (and sell
copies), and they already have a rabid audience! But alas...we'll just
have to do with OTHER awesome DVDs and videos!

I hope you'll make it down for the weekend, TKAA or no, it's going to be a
great time.

Jason
