Re: Don't be shy

Name and City, State: Anna Uersula, Rensselaer, NY
(God willing I'll be in Albany by the end of the year
with my own place)
Nickname: Anyechka
Year and city graduated high school: 1998,
Pittsfield, MA, though that was my third highschool.
I was at Albany High 1994-6, spent a horrible year
among right-wing nuts and backwater hicks in Derry,
PA, then in MA for my senior year. I'd never relive
that experience.

Highest level of education completed: Four years of
college. Graduate school is upcoming.

Occupation: Temp work when I can find it, thanks to
Shrubya's bad economy that won't enable people to find
enough jobs!

Year became a Who fan: 1993, but not hardcore until
2000.

First Who show attended and how many: None.

What were you doing when you found out about Keith's
death? John's? Keith died a year, three months, a
week, and four days before I was born. I actually
found out about John's death reading this list and
felt very numb, not able to believe it. Hard to
believe his Jahrzeit is in two months.

Favorite Who Song? Favorite Album?: "ICSFM," since
it was the first Who song I heard, though given that
they were still making albums when I was young, I
quite possibly heard one of the post-Moonie songs on
the radio, like "YBYB" or "EF," just was way too young
to have a memory of hearing it. My fave album is
Quad.

Least Favorite Who Song: It's between "Welcome,"
"Squeeze Box," and "Cache Cache." Other least-faves
are "Why Did I Fall for That?,'" "Sally Simpson,"
"Join Together," "Music Must Change," and "LSA." (I
do adore the version of "LSA" on WCF; it's way better
than The Who's version!)

Pete, Keith, Roger, John fan? Pete's been my fave
rave since 6 February 1994.

Who is the best kisser? ass kisser? no comment

Most raw talent?: That's a relative question. I like
to think of all people as equal, with different kinds
of talent and assets, not necessarily more or greater
than anybody else.

Reason for joining the list? reason for staying?: I
wanted more serious Who discussion, not just the fun
chatter on my young estrogen Who lists. I've stayed
because it has mostly intelligent threads and isn't
flame-ridden like O&S, which I left about 6 months
after I joined because I could no longer stomach that
atmosphere.

Biggest complaint on the list: Too many personal
discussions/flames that could be taken to private
e-mail, and too much political debate. I love a good
political fight, but this isn't the venue for one.

Who you'd like to see voted off next: no comment

Married, divorced or married with a little action on
the side?: Spent the past six months getting over my
third love. God willing I will marry one day before I
get too much older, since I'm very religious and
family, marriage, and children are very important in
my religion. As well as having kids to pass on being
a Who freak to; that's my second religion!

Interesting Hobbies: Numismatism (coin collecting),
philatelism (stamp collecting), Russophilia (my minor
was Russian and would have been my major if I had had
more than two years at my uni instead of transferring
in as a junior), Armenophilia, working on my endless
website, my writing.

CNN, Fox, Nickelodeon or History Channel? VH1 or MTV:
VH1, History Channel. Nickelodeon has sucked goats
since the early Nineties.

Favorite Who venue? never been to a show, so can't
say

Any other interesting facts about yourself?: Five
foot two in sneakers, dark blonde/golden-brown hair,
dark brown eyes, very pale skin, look like I'm only in
my teens instead of my early twenties. But that's a
blessing in disguise; Roger doesn't look his age
either, so when I'm that old, it won't be that bad to
be mistaken for five years younger than I really am!
