Casualties of Rock

An article on a new book called "Casualties of Rock"
about rock star death statistics. The article starts
recounting John's death. Here's a paragraph:

"...a fascinating -- and, um, sobering -- overview of
what Skinner calls 'the world's riskiest business.'
Nearly half the deaths he examines were related to
hardcore drug and alcohol use. Another quarter
occurred in highway or air crashes, roughly 10 per
cent were suicides, six per cent were murders and five
per cent were drownings. Only 13 of 100 deaths were by
"natural causes" -- and that's using a generous
definition that includes diseases such as AIDS."
