...and you're just figuring that out about mass media?
Mass media is a protracted exercise in fear-mongering and dispute
fueling.
If everyone got along and humantiy started improving itself, mass
media would quickly find itself out of a job.
It is their goal, whether consciously or not, to fan the flames of
discontent and feed all disputes with more fuel so that they may
continue to rage on in page 1 glory.
