I sent Simon a note this afternoon as I read with
horror that he may be joining the Who on the road this
summer.  I told him that I thought his part in the '97
tour was great, and that I was a fan and consumer of
his solo material, but that I was really concerned
about the thought of the Who bringing extra people on
tour again, and this was his response:
