Re: PBS Beg-a-thon



I'm sure we had just as high winds in NW Ohio than you did in NE Ohio.
One of the stations power went out in the middle fo the broadcast but they 
just went to dead air for a few secs untill thier generators kicked in.  No 
static or anything.

As for the PBS beg-a-thon it was the same thing here. 60 mins of PBS trying 
to push a $15 CD for a $75 pledge or something like that. And 30 mins of the 
Who accompanied by a few other artists.

It reminded me of NBC's coverage of the Olympics, especially the hockey 
games.  They went to commercial just about everytime there was a stoppage in 
play.

Kind of hard to enjoy anything that way.
