Queen's Jubilee

The three-hour rock concert for the Queen's Jubilee actually takes
place on at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, and Michael Kamen is directing a
50 member orchestra from the Royal Academy of Music to back up the
soloists. The house band includes Pino Pallidino. The Queen is
expected to be in attendance. The performance will be broadcast live
by the BBC One, and screens out side the Mall and Buckingham palace
will show the footage. There may also be radio coverage (available on
the web) and a webcast at the BBC website.

It looks like there may be a heavy Beatles emphasis in the popular
music activities, which may be why The Stones and The Who are staying
away.
