Pete hit it on the head. It was actually more than
ballsy, it BLEW!!!! Not a good song, and it certainly
didn't need to be sung FUCKING TWICE!!!!! What
might have been worse was that rather than opening
with hey, jude, or revolution, or something great, he
pulls out I'm Down. Was that song even on an album?
Wasn't it just a B-side? UGH! It sucked and no one
knew it well enough to sing along. And I missed the
JEB to stay for that garbage.>>

"I'm Down" was the B-side of "Help!" and reached #25.
I don't think I would have known that song if I
weren't such a longtime Beatlemaniac. When I pointed
out all of the great points which were brought up here
about Paul's set sucking goats on a music board on
aohell, I was told by several diehard Beatlemaniacs
that I was wrong. They thought that 'Freedom' was a
great song and how wonderful it was that Paul was
using the proceeds for charity (as though people would
buy it en masse besides just the hardcore fans). It's
like they weren't hearing how most people weren't
there to hear brand-new material which they would
never hear again, and that that was not the occasion
to pimp a mediocre new album. Oh well, these are the
same people who didn't even know The Who would be
playing until like the week of the event, while I had
known for like a month.
