I'll plead total ignorance of Drivin N Cryin.  They could be Aboriginal for 
all I know.

popular, yes, but then so is Britney who is FAR from hip."

You are a Who geek.  What do you know about hipness.
The Storkes press buzz is that they are hip.  NME says so...believe it.

Speaking of Who geeks, I was talking to my next-door-neighbor about the fact 
that I'll be out of town for a few days.
Her:  "Are you going any place fun?"
Me:  "London"
Her:  "Jeff - tell me you aren't traveling to London for a Who concert."
Me:  "What kind of freak to you take me for.  I would never travel to London 
for a Who concert.  I'm going for two Who shows.  Sheesh!"
Her (non-verbal communication):  "What a geek."
