ACID software

I'm in a band, and we're in the middle of recording our 3rd disc;  our
drummer has the ACID software on his computer, and I must tell you that
it is AMAZING.  The CD is going to have 9 regular live band performances,
with 1-2 minute instrumental bits between each song, kind of a Who/Floyd
sandwich.  We're able to take little experimental things that I've done
on a 4-track at home and turn them into massive, wall of sound collages
that just sound incredible.  Not only do the drums on the ACID program
sound amazingly real, there are also literaly thousands of
sounds/instruments to choose from; it's kind of like a Synclavier without
the aggravation.
