This is crap. The average citizen doesn't compete with retailers in buying
produce from farmers or from manufacturers. Retailers buy in bulk and save
money, thus they can charge relatively reasonable prices and still turn a
profit. The ticket brokers COMPETE with people who want to actually go to
the concert and force many who might otherwise get a good seat for the
advertized price to pay through the nose if they want it. The two absolutely
can not be compared in any way, shape, or form. And scalping is illegal in
many places, so why is it so far-fetched to outlaw brokers (who ARE scalpers
with a legitimate sounding name). Because people can call TM or order tix
via internet- the broker serves absolutely NO service to fans. They simply
force many to pay inflated prices.
