ticketbastards and seeing the who - surprise!!!

Ok, so I had lost my ticket to the Who at the Gorge in George Washington -
I do love the sound of that...

The story has been told on this very list - the next chapter has arrived:

After a couple of e-mails to TB stating my major discontne tat their
service, I got a phone call att work from a fellow at TB. He appologized
for teh poor phone support, explained that they only needed an address
confirmation, and would be send ing out my ticket today.

Key here were two things - the phone call, and the apology.

Also a freind brought me a full page ad from the Georgia Straight
(Vancouver newspaper) of the Who at the Gorge in George...

What I said earlier still stands - maybe more so - for the price, we should
be able to expect new music, and not a rehash greatest hits again. Even a
varied selection of tunes...

However, lets not get a return to the full blown orchestral who (except for
the Quad tour, which I loved).

Yes, we as the paying fans should be able to expect new stuff from the
people whos salaries we fund.....

My hope - hard driving, angry (middle age anger maybe...) music without a
lot of complecated instrumentation........somethign that works live, and
will work as video to attract new fans....

So, as of this moment, I shall honour the purchaase of my ticket and travel
to the Gorge in George, camp in the back of my 89 Chev S10 (or in a tent
beside my virago...) alone andd happy - anyone else from the list going to
The Gorge in George?
