With all due respect, my friend - this is bullshit.
1)  It would have cost you $1,000.
2)  You didn't have $500.

But the "I'll see The Who in Europe" line is even worse.
I thought you were moving to the States in September :-P

Keep trying.  I'm sure you can come up with the proper reasons for your 
public :0)
