I know what you mean - those lines are packed tightly together & it some-
times sounds as if Daltrey has to rush to squeeze all the words in.  But, be-
ing the professionals that they are, I'm sure it was decided to do it that way 
as opposed to Roger singing the line & Pete singing the response.
