I fervently hope you're right, and just to clarify, I didn't mean to imply
a prediction that nukes will be used in this. I was just struck by the
reference, considering the fireballs in the sky we've all seen a hundred
times by now.

You may be thinking of a photo of Pete's onstage equipment list, which
appears in _Maximum R&B_, and lists "4711" which it explains was a cologne,
which Pete snorted during shows.
Or maybe not. That's what I thought of, anyway.
And of course, I'll never forget the explanation of the ushers sniffing,
which was posted (either here or on another list) a couple years ago.
