This may be one of the most idiotic things I have ever read in my life!  The 
reason Tuesday happened is simple - for the last ten years (if not longer) we 
have been terribly lax about defending our country from just what happened 
Tuesday.

Our borders are sieves; INS doesn't toss out people whose visas have expired 
(like several of those involved on Tuesday); our airport security is manned 
by minimum wage morons who talk more about what's on Oprah then paying 
attention to their jobs so that time after time planned insertions of agents 
to test the security at these airports gets though undetected.  In fact just 
yesterday three Northwest Airlines people penetrated the NEW security with 
plastic knives and a cork screw!  Many airlines DON'T match picture ID's with 
luggage - despite that being procedure!

Whenever we were hit by terrorism (our embassys, USS Cole, etc.) all we did 
was posture with outrage and then throw some missles. Big whoop!  What was 
needed THEn was a concerted effort to work with our allies and put the 
terrorists on notice that we were coming after them THEN!!!!  Had that 
happened THEN, what happened Tuesday would not have happened at all!

The blood of Tuesday is on the hands of every American president of the last 
ten years at least!  The top job of the government (in fact one of the very 
few Constitutional things the government is supposed to do) is to protect the 
nation from threats.  These presidents utterly failed in this respect.

As for the money in Congress - read a history book.  Every time the 
government has been motivated into war in our history a carte blanche bill 
was passed in Congress within days.  Wheels move much quicker when these 
idiots can finally see the light for the trees and things move a LOT faster 
than normal because of that.  This starts with our war on the Barbary Pirates 
in 1802, through the War of 1812, through the Mexican War, through the Civil 
War, Spanish-American War etc.

Unless you choose to belive that ALL of these events were vast government 
conspiracies perhaps?????????
