Who photo exhibit in London

Matt's got a couple of pieces of news up at Pete's site at:
http://www.petetownshend.com/press_release_pr_view.cfm

On Friday 14th September, London's only permanent Rock 'n' Roll Photographic
Gallery opens its doors for the first time. Situated a rolling stone's throw
from Waterloo Station on the South Bank.

The Basement Rock 'n' Roll Gallery in 42 - 43 Tanswell Street, Lower Marsh,
Waterloo, London SE1. will boast (according to their press release) the
widest spectrum of unseen Rock and Pop images, taken by some of the genre's
leading lensmen. In opening its doors, the debut exhibition is entitled
'Ready Steady Who!' devoted to the early Pop Art years of the WHO, covering
the bands' formative years between 1965 - 67. Highlighted are approximately
40 colour and black & white prints; a pop art-tastic (not my words!) display
featuring the work of such highly regarded band associates as Chris Morphet
and Tom Wright, who attended Ealing Art College with Pete Townshend. Each
individually signed print measures approximately 20 x 40 inches and will be
available to buy with prices ranging from the very affordable to the very
reasonable!
