Dan Rather presented a segment about Paul Mcartney  looking back on his
career from aboutthe time when the Beatles first played in New York to
the present Concert for New York.Towards the end in his summary,he
referred to the CFNY and began showing some of thedifferent acts
including The Who. What was amazing was that as the footage of The Who
wasbeing shown,Dan said something to the effect that without actually
saying it, the Who stole the show! (the footage complementing his
words).Lots of shots of firefighters singing along withThe Who and shots
of Roger and Pete close up ! Then at the very end ,the group shot of allthe
acts singing with Paul including Pete and Roger.Regards,Derick.
