Townshend: no
new Who album

Progress stalls on The
'Oo's first album in two
decades

PLANS FOR THE WHO'S
FIRST STUDIO ALBUM SINCE
1982's 'It's Hard' have been put
on indefinite hold. Last June at
a press conference to launch
their Greatest Hits Tour, vocalist
Roger daltrey, guitarist Pete
Townshend and bassist John
Entwistle seemed enthusiastic
about the idea. Townshend
says,"I'm not working hard on
The Who release at all. Roger
and I are not working together
yet...John hasn't played us any
songs yet."

For the moment there is the
recently-released video and
DVD "Live At The Royal Albert
Hall".
