I dunno that you can give Roger the credit for this one, but it WAS the 
Cheiftains who introduced Michael Flatley in the U.S.  They took Irish 
dancers on tour with them early in the Nineties, so had them handy for DST.  
Jean Butler (also of RIVERDANCE) performs on AN IRISH EVENING (1991) where 
Roger guests at the Cheiftains' show in Belfast.
For anyone who enjoys Irish music, I'd recommend either this video or the cd 
for Christmas gifts.  They're both excellent, as is the cd that  Sting did 
with the Cheiftains, called THE LONG BLACK VEIL.
