Anyone else catch NPR this morning?
Oh, maybe that was VPR (local connection).
Anyway, there was one of those stories.
This was about the future and how this guys great grandson was coming to
visit.  He's very busy since he has to visit his grandparents, his
great-grandparents, and his great great grandparents.  Everyone is still
alive.
The boy doesn't like going to the elderly housing community 'cause he "can't
hear himself think" while there.
You see, all those old "geezers grew up listening to bands like THE WHO and
fought to get to the front of the stage infront of the speaker stands.  Now,
they all use sign language, and the only way they can still enjoy their WHO,
is by blasting it out full volume." 

See, the future's been see, and it doesn't look so bad after all!
